Love Recession

7 Mar

Can there ever be, a love recession?

Can we, of our feelings, lose possession?

In doling out love, should we be sparing?

Or, shun our caution, and be daring?

Can love fluctuate in intensity?

If it does, what a pity!

From person to person, does love vary?

Excessive love, may sometimes, seem scary!

In recession, should we stop pulling at our heartstrings?

Just as we tighten, our purse strings!

Can recession cause exodus of love from the heart?

Is there a way, from love, to honourably part?

For love, there should be no recession,

If there is, such love, it is wise to shun!

There is no recession for real love as it is always bountiful in nature!

Love is like a river, never ending as it flows, but gets greater with time! Love is a noble act of self-giving, offering trust, faith, and loyalty. The more you love, the more you lose a part of yourself, yet you don’t become less of who you are; you end up being complete with your loved ones.
