A ‘Savage’ Named ‘Love’

6 Mar

Can love exterminate its own pain?

Can it kill itself, for someone’s gain?

Is love a killer, or a saviour?

Does one, in love, become any savvier?

Is love a fresh lease of ‘breath?’

Or, the ‘unknown’ side of death?

Does love, one’s life, elevate?

Or, the miseries of love, does it aggravate?

Does love ‘really’ make you divine?

Or, all through your life, makes you pine?

Does love invigorate or enervate?

Love is either a boon or a bane, in everyone’s fate!

Love seems to be, but a savage,

It can strike you at any age!

That is why Romeo and Juliet become world famous divine lovers! That is why love is blue, it is said. But don’t be afraid of love;,for it is better than hate, violence and terrorism that are destroying humanism in the world. Gandhi also followed the policy of love and unity adopting fasting as the means to attain freedom for his country and he has become Mahatma! There is no gain without pain. So, the sufferings of men due to love is not a waste as according to Shakespeare sweet are the uses of adversity in life if you want things to happen As You Like It!

Love is both a saviour as well as death and pain. Love should be such that we want to do anything for the loved ones anytime. And loving somebody does not mean that they should also love you in return. Now- a-days, this type of love is more seen. Actually, this is not true love. Love is a saviour in very few cases but a pain to most now-a-days.

love is pain if you have expectations but a saviour if you dont.
There is pain in love but also lot of joy .I think you should be blessed to be loved
