Silent Death

20 Feb

Oh Death! Embrace me when I’m a juvenile,

This world is full of guile.

Wrap me gently with your arms,

Embracing you, I have no qualms.

Take me with you, when I’m fast asleep,

Not just my life, let my death have an effect, deep.

Kill me when I’m in deep silence,

So that, even my death, makes some sense.

After my death, let no one weep,

All the tears, with myself, I want to keep.

Let my death bring joy to my foes,

Allow me to suffer, even their share of woes.

Don’t keep me waiting for too long,

I want to kick the bucket, when I’m on a song.
