Swami Vivekananda – My Ideal & Role Model
Swami Vivekananda once said, “If you have lost your wealth, you have lost nothing; if you have lost your health, you have lost something; if you have lost your character, you have lost everything.” I strongly believe in this saying of Swami Vivekananda. Character makes a human being. A person with spotless and indisputable character is invaluable, whereas the wealthiest person without character is not even worth mentioning. A person of character will attract wealth but a wealthy person cannot buy good character even with all his/her wealth. But, sad to note that people now-a-days give more importance to “money” than “character.” Money has become the “only religion” people worship of late.
I won the title of “Mr. Vivekananda School of PG Studies” (Mr. VSPGS) during my MBA (2000-02).

True….He is the real rider of indian culture…..I also dream about him day and night from the day i started understanding the basics of life. In fact our words are not enough to describe him……
But real followers are not those who only talk good about him!! We should follow him in our life and make others to follow it so we can create that spirit alive again in indian youth. Then only we can admire him in real sense.
I don’t think that he will feel proud about today’s indian youth or their devotion towards the indian culture. We need to really act to make his words live again among us.
Let us come togather and do some thing so that we can spread energy of his thoughts world wide to make real revoultion again. Let us start new way to reach new destination. Really the through of Swami Vivekananda are the bright sunlight’s for us to follow the way of successful life.
I am always trying to go on the same way. It’s difficult but ultimate result “win” makes important.
Unfortunately, I never visit the Kanyakumari.

I learned about Swami Vivekananda. He was very courageous and was conscious of doing some things with confidence. The spiritual knowledge gained from Ramakrishna was very useful to him to deliver a good talk at the conference in Chicago in America.
Let Swamiji bless me to have that much of confidence and spiritual power to do day-to-day functions.
